Class of 2019 donates nearly $4,000 for scholarship funds
Members of the UCCS Class of 2019 set a new participation record with 316 graduates making gifts totaling $3,941 for the annual class gift. More than 30 scholarship funds benefited from this year’s gift. (More)

Competitive spirit gave Battle of the Departments Food Drive a lift
Generosity and a hint of competitive spirit among the UCCS community resulted in more than 7,870 donations of food, 465 items of professional clothing and $2,219 in financial gifts to Clyde’s Cupboard this November. (More)

Being a mom isn’t easy. Being a single mom isn’t easy. But what about being a single mom of three, pursuing a master’s degree, implementing a campus-wide carpooling program, and tutoring college-level statistics several times a week? Nobles wins Lustig Award from American Physical Society
Jason Nobles, a doctoral student in applied sciences, won the Harry Lustig Award for his research work in liquid crystals Oct. 12 during the Four Corners Section annual meeting of the American Physical Society in Prescott, Arizona. (More)
Four graduate students earn nearly $50,000 from NBCC Foundation
