The Office of the Dean of Students maintains and administers the University Student Code of Conduct, serves as a student advocate, provides assistance to students in crisis, and supports students by directing services and programs that enhance students’ education and provide life-enriching experiences.

Health Services

The Wellness Center has medical visits available for most of your medical needs and are available for acute illness or injuries, birth control consults, STI testing, Gender Affirming Health, vaccines/flu shots/tuberculosis screening, and more.

Institutional Equity

The Office of Institutional Equity was created to address all complaints of sexual misconduct and protected class discrimination and harassment, whether against a student, employee or third party. The OIE’s mission is to create and foster a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment. Utilizing a comprehensive and integrated approach, the OIE facilitates accommodations, case resolutions, education, and supportive and safety measures.

UCCS provides all students and employees with free access to SilverCloud by Amwell. This online platform has a suite of mental health and wellbeing programs and tools, and can provide coaching and skill building to manage day to day functioning.
