Bike Jam encourages healthy lifestyle

Faculty, staff and students gathered on El Pomar Plaza Sept. 2 for a day of biking activities, prizes, vendors, giveaways and free food to celebrate Bike Jam, an annual UCCS event to encourages alternate methods of transportation, specifically bicycles, for the purpose of living more healthy and sustainable lives. First fall Café Scientifique to explore gravity’s influence

At the Sept. 8 Café Scientifique, David Klaus, professor and associate chair for undergraduate studies, Aerospace Engineering Sciences, CU-Boulder will discuss how astronauts orbiting Earth offers a unique environment to study physiological and psychological effects of gravity, and the lack thereof. Fall forum scheduled shared

The Office of the Chancellor will sponsor five all-campus forums during the fall semesters. All faculty and staff are invited to attend forums. In addition to short presentations about events affecting the campus, the forums provide an opportunity to ask questions. (More)
