Faculty, staff and students gathered on El Pomar Plaza Sept. 2 for a day of biking activities, prizes, vendors, giveaways and free food to celebrate Bike Jam, an annual UCCS event to encourages alternate methods of transportation, specifically bicycles, for the purpose of living more healthy and sustainable lives. Following a string of bike thefts that plagued campus during the summer session, the UCCS Police Department recently arrested two suspects and recovered a number of bikes thanks to old fashioned detective work. (More)

UCCS faculty and staff will welcome new students to campus at the inaugural Mountain Lion Rally Aug. 19. The event will replace Convocation in officially kicking off the 2015-2016 academic year. (More)
The Office of the Chancellor will sponsor five all-campus forums during the fall semesters. All faculty and staff are invited to attend forums. In addition to short presentations about events affecting the campus, the forums provide an opportunity to ask questions. (More)
On June 15, the Kramer Family Library launched a new proxy server to allow faculty, staff and students to use their UCCS username and password to access library databases, eBooks, online journals, and streaming videos from off campus. (More)
