Photo feature: Dandapani toasted

Colleagues and friends toasted R. “Dan” Dandapani’s tenure as dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences May 17.

Dandapani, 71, announced May 3 his plans to return to the faculty following nine years in the dean’s position, eight years as dean and one year as interim dean. He joined UCCS in 1986 as a professor of electrical and computer engineering. He will return to the faculty this fall and plans to spend more time with his family.
