UCCS Executive Chef Corey King will help people get ready for summer cooking with a live “Kitchen Shenanigans” June 25 event sponsored by UCCS Alumni Relations in coordination with Dining and Hospitality Services and Auxiliary Services Marketing. The event will take place on YouTube from 4-4:45 p.m.
King will demonstrate making watermelon gazpacho, go over the foundation for proper knife technique, the positives and negatives on gas or charcoal grills, and how to pick the right meats and vegetables for your meals.
Registration isn’t required, but does allow participants to receive recipe cards for the gazpacho. Questions can be submitted live through the YouTube platform.
Jacob Guilez, social media and content specialist for Auxiliary Services Marketing, will moderate the event and ask viewer questions to Chef Corey.
