New UCCS students to receive Chromebooks in fall 2020

All new incoming full-time undergraduate students, including first-time freshmen and transfer students enrolled in at least 12 hours, will be eligible to claim a Chromebook that they can use for the duration of their UCCS academic career. (More)

Tom Christensen, provost, to return to the classroom in 2021

Tom Christensen, former dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences and longtime UCCS professor of physics, will step down from his position as provost on June 30, 2021. He will return to the classroom for a final year of teaching before retiring in May 2022. (More)

Regents approve $4.54 billion system budget

The CU Board of Regents last week unanimously voted to approve a $4.54 billion budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year, am amount 5.3% less than the previous annual budget for the university system. (More)
