Governor to sign laws affecting campus on Tuesday

Middle schoolers put science into action at UCCS summer program

Middle school students will be able to decode their own DNA to designing robots as part of a series of real life science workshops June 8 and 9 at UCCS. About 300 students from the Pikes Peak region and southwestern Colorado will visit UCCS June 8 and 9 to participate in hands-on experiences designed to stimulate interest in science, technology, engineering and math. UCCS to celebrate Cuban diasporic artists

“Cuba Transnational,” a project conceived and coordinated by Andrea Herrera, professor, Department of Women’s and Ethnic Studies, will highlight creativity in the Cuban diaspora.

The first series of events are five art exhibitions including a photography installation at Kraemer Family Library and four public multimedia art exhibits opening May 28 at Pueblo’s Sangre de Cristo Arts Center. (More)
