Summer social media training scheduled

Training sessions for UCCS staff members responsible for maintaining or creating department social media sites are scheduled for June and July.

Stephanie Blake, a former Department of Communication faculty member, will lead interactive training sessions on June 21, June 27 and July 18 to explain a new UCCS social media policy as well as industry best practices to use the tools to improve communication with alumni, community members and students.

• 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., June 21, Columbine Hall 220
• 10 a.m. – noon, June 27, Columbine Hall 220
• 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., July 18, Columbine Hall 229
