ESPN Broncos reporter to share career advice to UCCS students

Jeff Legwold, a longtime ESPN reporter for the Denver Broncos, will be at UCCS to discuss the importance of versatility when navigating a career path in sports. He will speak with College of Business and communication students at 1 p.m. April 9 in University Center 302.

Legwold has covered the Broncos since 2004 for the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post before he joined ESPN in 2013. His career extends beyond the scope of Colorado with more than 30 years of experience in NFL reporting, as well as stints in Big Ten football and basketball, NASCAR, NHL and high school games. Legwold is also the former president of Pro Football Writers of America and is a long-standing member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Selectors.

Legwold will detail his career path to ESPN and the different ways to be versatile within in a career. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions.
