Provost finalists to visit

Three finalists for the position of provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs will visit campus Oct. 13, Oct. 17 and Oct. 27.

The finalists are:

  • Tom Christensen, professor, Physics and Energy Science Department and former dean of the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Christensen will make a campus presentation at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 13 in University Center 303. The presentation is open to the campus community. At 9:35 a.m. Oct. 13, Christensen will answer questions in a  faculty-only session in University Center 303.
  • Scott Furlong, dean, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Wisconsin, Green Bay. Furlong will make a campus presentation at 8:30 a.m. in University Center 302. The presentation is open to the campus community. At 9:45 a.m., Furlong will answer questions in a faculty-only session in University Center 302.
  • Karen Pugliesi, dean, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, Northern Arizona University. Pugliesi will make a campus presentation at 3 p.m. Oct. 27 in University Center 302. The presentation is open to the campus community. At 10:15 a.m. Oct. 27, Pugliesi will answer questions in a faculty-only session in University Center 302.
