UCCS professor to participate in religious discussion

UCCS’s Jeff Scholes will participate in a discussion regarding religious belief at Colorado College on the evening of May 5.

Scholes, instructor, Philosophy Department, UCCS, will pair with David Gardiner, associate professor and chair, Religion Department, CC, to present “Religious Belief in the 21st Century.” (More)

Wisner award to highlight campus ceremony

The 2011 Campus Awards Ceremony will be at 3:30 p.m. May 3 in Berger Hall, and for the first time will feature the Ron Wisner Human Spirit and Leadership Award.

Education dean finalists to visit campus

Three finalist candidates for the position of dean of the UCCS College of Education will meet with faculty and staff in open forums and campus receptions during April 12, 19 and 26. A fourth finalist met with faculty and staff April 5.

UCCS to host Colorado’s 28th Math Olympiad

The Colorado Math Olympiad will return to UCCS for its 28th year on April 22.

An estimated 400 middle and high school students from around the state will meet in Berger Hall and the Gallogly Events Center at 9 a.m. Participants are given four hours to complete the five essay-style problems. (More)
