CU Foundation adds three new staff

The CU Foundation recently hired three individuals to work on UCCS fundraising priorities.

Megan Fisher, vice president, CU Foundation, announced Margo Hatton as director of development, Melinda Hageman as associate director of development and Judson Carter as assistant director of development.

Brief biographies follow.

Margo Hatton, Pueblo, previously served as manager of development and education partnerships for The Space Foundation, Colorado Springs, development director for the Historic Arkansas Riverwalk of Pueblo, and executive director of Arts in Motion at a Michigan elementary school. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Principia College, Elsah, Ill.

Melinda Hagemann

Melinda Hageman, Colorado Springs, previously served as in several advertising management and sales positions at the Colorado Springs Gazette, and as a store manager for Talbots, Inc., a clothing retailer. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque.

Judson Carter

Judson Carter, Colorado Springs, previously served as president of a fundraising company that he founded. Carter’s previous experiences include national fundraising and serving as the special assistant to the chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Radford University, Radford, Va.
