The UCCS Student Health Center will offer free screenings at its annual Health Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 in Berger Hall.
In an effort to promote living a healthy life style, the Student Health Center will provide free cholesterol, blood sugar, blood pressure, vision, hearing, spinal, pulmonary function and bone density screenings along with chair massages. There will also be healthy food samples and more than 45 vendors providing information about healthy lifestyle options
Stephanie Hanenberg, director, Student Health Center, believes it is important for the campus community to take advantage of the screenings as a free way to monitor individual health and to learn options to feeling better.
Memorial Hospital will also host a blood donation drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Berger Hall.
