Yanyan Zhuang

Yanyan Zhuang, assistant professor, joined the Department of Computer Science in 2016. Her research interests include computer networking, security and privacy, and software engineering. As of November 2018, she has authored or co-authored more than 40 research papers in peer-reviewed conference proceedings and journals. Her work has been cited more than 600 times.

Most recently, Zhuang’s work in software code comprehension has received an ACM SIGSOFT Distinguished Paper Award at the Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering. This award placed UCCS at the national rank of No. 53 for software engineering.
