Four Feb. 15 meetings are planned for all campus students, faculty and staff members to learn more and weigh in about the search for a new UCCS chancellor.
In addition to the meetings, a survey was created for faculty, staff and students to share opinions about important qualities for the next UCCS leader. The survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/95F62FQ.
The meetings are:
- 8:30 a.m. - 9:15 a.m., UC 122. Campus deans and executive directors.
- 10:30 a.m. - 11:15 a.m., UC 122. Students, faculty and staff.
- 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., UC 122. Staff.
- 2:45 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., UC 302. Faculty.
Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak's last day as chancellor is Feb. 15. Venkat Reddy, dean, College of Business, will serve as interim chancellor.
A national search for chancellor is underway. At the Feb. 15 meetings, Leonard Dinegar, CU senior vice president and chief of staff, will be on campus, along with representatives of executive search firm DHR International. Dinegar is chairing the search committee.
At the meetings, Dinegar will solicit input about the characteristics that campus members believe are important for the next chancellor and share information about the search process and timeline.
