Reynolds earns top engineering honor

Gary Reynolds, associate vice chancellor for campus planning and facilities management, Administration and Finance, recently received the General Palmer Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies Colorado.

Reynolds received the award Nov. 7 at the 2017 Engineering Excellence Awards luncheon at the Brown Palace Hotel, Denver.

The General Palmer Award is given to an engineer who has made a contribution to the state of Colorado, received recognition in the community, made advancement to the engineering community and had an impact on future generations.

Reynolds joined UCCS in 2007 and previously was executive director of facilities services at Colorado College. He has worked in private practice and facilities management since 1972.
