The Lodge renovation allows for additional menu options at the dining facility.

Mark Hayes, director, Dining and Hospitality Services, is happy with the outcome of the $2 million renovation. “It looks great for as small of a budget we had to work with,” Hayes said.

The renovation included expanding and creating new stations such as a salad bar, international grill and a Mediterranean food area. The restrooms got a facelift, even though they were not initially included in the renovation plans. The kitchen received new equipment as well.

“The aesthetic appeal is phenomenal,” says Connor Pabich, resident assistant. “Overall it’s a huge improvement and I’ve yet to find someone that doesn’t like it.”

The Lodge also extended its breakfast hours to 9:30 a.m. in order to accommodate student athletes after their morning practice.
