Nonlinear Day coming this weekend

Nonlinearday_2016Scientists from throughout Colorado and from universities outside of the state will be on campus April 30 to discuss their research in dynamics, waves, equations and computation at Colorado Nonlinear Day.

Organized by Department of Mathematics faculty members Barbara Prinari, associate professor, and Sarbarish Chakravarty, professor, the meeting will feature a series of lectures in the Osborne Center for Science and Engineering. Several UCCS faculty members will participate as well as faculty from CU Boulder, the National Center for Atmospheric Research, the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, University of Thessaloniki (Greece) and University of Kentucky.

This the second Colorado Nonlinear Day hosted by the department.
