More than 1,100 comments submitted by campus community members during a Jan. 26 strategic planning update are now available.
More than 325 faculty and staff attended the update and completed note cards with suggestions, a process designed as a mid-point evaluation in anticipation of a November 2016 Higher Learning Commission accreditation visit.
“The areas for additional input were areas of the strategic plan where revisions are needed,” Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak said. Other areas and commitments in the strategic plan will remain in place.”
Next steps in the process are:
- Groups of faculty, staff and university leadership will review and summarize all of the inputs.
- Members of the CU Board of Regents will provide input on the strategic plan during Feb. 18 and 19 campus meetings. Regent comments will be combined with campus-based comments.
- Recommended revisions to the plan will be shared with faculty and staff, and input sought, in March.
- A final version of the revised plan will be shared with the CU Board of Regents, and voted upon, in April.
