Austin Bluffs lanes to close for traffic signal and power line work

Update: The project has been temporally postponed. We will update with more information once a new time and date are determined.

Drivers on Austin Bluffs Parkway will experience lane closes from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. April 23 as crews from Lawrence Construction install traffic signals at the Austin Bluffs and Stanton Road intersection.

The right lane for both east and west bound traffic will be closed throughout the period. There will also be intermittent lane closures of all three lanes of traffic both east and west bound as crews remove overhead power lines. Police officers will direct traffic. All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 5:30 a.m. April 23.

Additionally, there will be intermittent closures of one lane of Austin Bluffs Parkway both east and west bound during daylight hours as crews work to complete landscaping and other final construction details. Lawrence Construction will close lanes after 8:30 a.m. in an effort to prevent disruptions during peak morning commute periods.

Most Austin Bluffs construction was completed in December 2014 with final details held until spring weather.
