Austin Bluffs to be restricted Wednesday night and weekend

Austin Bluffs Parkway traffic will be restricted Nov. 5, Nov. 8 and 9 as crews continue to make progress on the Pikes Peak Regional Transportation Authority-directed widening project.

According to Lawrence Construction, the contractor for the Austin Bluffs widening project, east and westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to one lane at the intersection of Stanton Road from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Nov. 5 to allow installation of traffic signals. All lanes will reopen by 12 a.m.

Additionally, east and westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to one lane from Mallow Road to Regent Circle from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Nov. 8 and Nov. 9. Lanes will reopen at 5 p.m. each day.

Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
