Loux wins fall photo contest

Sandra Loux, program assistant, College of Business, won University Communications and Media Relation’s fall photo contest.

The contest was conducted on the university’s Facebook page and asked faculty, staff, students and community members to submit photos from around campus and across the Pikes Peak Region.

When asked about her photo submission, Loux said that she happened to be at the right place at the right time.

“I was walking out to the parking lot one evening after work and when I turned to go down the steps at Cragmor I looked back towards Main Hall and saw what you see in the picture. I just had to stop and get my camera out and I only took the one shot because I was in a hurry,” Loux said. “It was just serendipitous that I happened to be in the right place at the right exact moment and fortunately with my camera. I feel privileged to work in such a beautiful setting we have here on campus.”

Loux received a UCCS-themed gift package as a reward for winning the contest.
