UCCS Police Chief Diana Cooley was officially sworn in on Friday, Oct. 18.
“It is an honor to be officially sworn in as Chief of Police at UCCS,” Cooley said. “I am grateful for the trust placed in me to serve this vibrant community. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Vice Chancellor Kathy Kaoudis for her incredible support throughout this transition. I look forward to strengthening partnerships across campus and fostering trust with all those we serve.”
Diana comes to UCCS from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus Police Department, where she served as Commander of Patrol Operations. She brings over 17 years of law enforcement experience to the role, with expertise in the areas of program management, crisis management, staff training and development, community engagement and strategic planning.
