UCCS marketing campaign wins Colorado ADDY Awards

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs “UCCS Fuels Success” advertising campaign won multiple ADDY Awards in 2022, including the top prize: Best in Show.

During the recent American Advertising Federation (AAF) Colorado Chapter’s ADDY Awards, the UCCS Fuels Success advertising campaign walked away with multiple awards, including the top prize, “Best of Show.”

The selection of the most creative entry is done by a panel of judges who evaluate all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category. Best of Show is exactly that – out of all of the Gold category winners, one ad is selected to be the best of the best.

“You can imagine our surprise when we were awarded Best of Show,” said Chris Valentine, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Marketing and Communications. “While it is nice to win awards for our creative work, the award we are most proud of is the Mosaic ADDY, which reflects our commitment to diversity.”

The UCCS Fuels Success campaign was launched in January of 2021 and features actual UCCS students and faculty in every ad. All assets were created in partnership with UCCS’ advertising agency, Karsh Hagan. The award-winning campaign can be seen here
