The Zoomedy of Errors brings Shakespeare to homes May 27

Cast members present Shakespeare in a community room

Theatreworks’ Free-for-All Shakespeare program will return to the stage –virtually — for a free streaming performance of “Comedy of Errors” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 27. The public can view the performance for free through the Theatreworks Facebook page.

Free-for-All provides free performances in unexpected spaces throughout the Pikes Peak Region. “Comedy of Errors” is the silly and zany story of two sets of twins, separated at birth by shipwreck and brought together by chance. Our first summer of Free-For-All in 2019 was profiled in a feature by Rocky Mountain PBS.

“Bringing accessible theater to everyone is an important part of our mission,” said Caitlin Lowans, artistic director of Theatreworks. “We started this program to build on Theatreworks’ rich history of touring Shakespeare throughout Colorado. Creating opportunities for our dynamic and diverse communities to gather together and celebrate is an essential part of the Free-for-All program.”
