As part of the continuing construction on Austin Bluffs Parkway, area between Stanton Road and Regent Circle will be reduced to one lane east and west bound beginning at 6 a.m. Oct. 5 through 6 a.m. Oct. 7 for construction of a waterline.
Austin Bluffs will return to two lanes east and west bound at 6 a.m. Oct. 7, according to representatives of Lawrence Construction, the project’s general contractor.
Additional updates include
- The west bound Austin Bluffs Parkway off-ramp to Union Boulevard will continue to be reduced to one lane until further he the entrance to UCCS between Regent Circle and Meadow Lane will be closed from Sept. 20 through Sept. 22.
- East bound Austin Bluffs Parkway will continue to be reduced to two lanes at American Drive for construction of a right turn lane. All lanes will reopen to traffic at 5 p.m. Oct. 15.
- West and east bound Austin Bluffs Parkway east of Union Boulevard will be reduced to one lane from 6 a.m. Oct. 5 to 6 a.m. Oct. 7 for median work. Two traffic lanes in each direction will reopen at 6 a.m. Oct. 7.
- West and east bound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Barnes Road and Vanadium Drive beginning at 2 a.m. Oct. 5 through 6 a.m. Oct. 14 for media work. All lanes will reopen at 6 a.m. Oct. 14.
- Lanes will be reduced at Barnes Road and Austin Bluffs Parkway beginning at 2 a.m. Oct. 5 through 6 a.m. Oct. 11. Barnes Road traffic approaching Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to a right turn lane and a single left turn lane for construction of a new storm sewer. All lanes will reopen at 6 a.m. Oct. 11.
