Night work to reduce Austin Bluffs lanes

Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to one lane between Stanton Drive and Regent Circle beginning at 8 p.m. Sept. 3 through 6 a.m. Sept. 6 as part of the Austin Bluffs widening project.

Crews will install a new water line in the area. The work is expected to take place at night with lanes reopening to traffic at 6 a.m. daily, according to Lawrence Construction Company, the project contractor.

Additionally, the westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway off-ramp from Union Boulevard will be reduced to one lane until further notice as crews install a new storm sewer.

Eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway will be reduced to two lanes at American Drive beginning at 6:30 a.m. Sept. 3 and continuing until 5 p.m. Sept. 13 as crews create a new right turn lane.
