Staff Association has unveiled a new staff appreciation program, Clyde’s Kudos, which encourages UCCS staff members to recognize their colleagues for a job well-done.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of the academic year, it can be easy to forget to celebrate the wins on campus, both small and large. Alex Baker, president-elect of Staff Association, hopes Clyde’s Kudos will be a remedy.
“It is very apparent that staff across campus are not only wanting to be recognized for the wonderful things they are contributing that help make UCCS successful, but they also are wanting opportunities to recognize their colleagues for the same thing,” he said.
“Our hope in launching this program is that we will be reminded that one of the biggest things that sets UCCS apart is, of course, the people. UCCS has always taken pride in the collaboration that happens across campus, and we hope we will continue to do so even more with the launch of Clyde’s Kudos.”
Kudos can be submitted in recognition of going above and beyond to help students and colleagues, taking initiative, demonstrating an infectiously positive attitude or even engaging in random acts of kindness.
Communique will celebrate individuals’ kudos in a monthly feature. Individuals also have the potential to be recognized through a variety of forums, including the Staff Association website, the Staff Association newsletter, Spring Luncheon shout-outs, handwritten cards and other methods of distribution.
Submit kudos through the Staff Association website.
