OIT Help Desk expands to 24×7 support through BlackBeltHelp

Starting August 1 in partnership with BlackBeltHelp, the UCCS Office of Information Technology will expand its service hours to 24 hours a day, seven days week. BlackBeltHelp will provide after-hours support from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays, and during weekends and holidays, as an extension of the OIT Help Desk.

“We are excited to offer 24/7 technology support for all of our customers: on-campus or online,” said Harper Johnson, assistant vice chancellor for information technology and chief technology officer. “This will help them to get the help they need when they need it.”

BlackBeltHelp will function as an extension of the OIT Help Desk and be available via phone (719-255-3536) and chat (uccs.edu/oit). Any issue that BlackBeltHelp cannot resolve will be forwarded on to the OIT Help Desk team, who will work with the customer on the next business day to find a resolution. Please note: BlackBeltHelp does require that students and employees know their ID number for assistance. Should you not know your ID, Admissions and Records can provide that information to you during regular business operating hours.
