TV is theme for Staff Council Luncheon
The UCCS Staff Council Spring Luncheon will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 26 in the University Center Ballroom but the first of many door prizes was awarded May 10. (More)
Officers commended
Mike Bianco, patrol officer, Public Safety, and Larry Darnall, patrol officer, Public Safety, will receive commendations from the Colorado Springs Police Department for their role in apprehending two suspects in an attempted robbery of a local convenience store. (More)
Faculty earn promotions and tenure recommendations
A dozen faculty members recommended for promotion for academic year 2010-2011 will be honored Friday with a reception at the home of Provost Peg Bacon.
The promotion recommendations are scheduled for review by the CU Board of Regents June 24.
