Paty Romero-Lankao, research scientist, National Center for Atmospheric Research, will lead a discussion on climate change in urban environments as part of Café Scientifique scheduled for 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. Feb. 12 at Clyde’s in the University Center.
Romero-Lankao’s presentation, “Thinking ‘Urban Futures’ in a Changing Climate,” will explore the challenges and opportunities that cities face when addressing climate change. Romero-Lankao will also address the possible challenges of issue-driven research that seeks to be scientifically robust and socially relevant.
