The UCCS College Engineering and Applied Science will have an open house for prospective students from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 17 in the Osborne Center for Science & Engineering as well as the Engineering & Applied Sciences Building.
The event will include interactive demonstrations led by professors and tours of the college’s labs. The demos will cover mechanical and aerospace engineering, computer science, and electrical and computer engineering.
According to Nancy Hoist, administrative assistant, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the open house offers perspective students a chance to get to see the college up close.
“This is a great opportunity for perspective students to get face time with our faculty and to see what the college has to offer,” Hoist said. “It’s a chance for them to get excited about their future and what they can aspire to be if they come to UCCS.”
The event is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending can RSVP at [email protected].
