The CU Board of Regents will conduct a regular meeting Feb. 1 at Berger Hall on the UCCS campus.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m., though the regents are expected to meet in executive session for more than an hour. A public comment session begins at 8:30 a.m. and is followed by reports from budget and finance and academic affairs committees. At 5 p.m., the regents will have an intercollegiate athletics committee meeting in University Center 303.

The Board of Regents consists of nine members serving staggered six-year terms, one elected from each of Colorado’s seven congressional districts and two from the state at-large. The members select their own chair and vice-chair.
The board is charged constitutionally with the general supervision of the university and the exclusive control and direction of all funds of and appropriations to the university.
