University auxiliaries reorganize for future

Citing growth in the auxiliary enterprises at UCCS, three personnel changes will take effect Nov. 1.

The changes were announced by Susan Szpyrka, senior associate vice chancellor, Administration and Finance.

The changes include:

Jeff Davis, director, University Center, will be promoted to executive director, Auxiliary Services Operations. In this position, the Family Development Center, University Center, the campus mail service, and Auxiliary Facilities will report to Davis. Auxiliary-funded facilities include the Recreation Center, University Center, student housing, the parking garage, Gallogly Events Center, the Family Development Center, the Department of Public Safety building and campus parking lots.

Megan Bell, associate director, University Center, will be promoted to director, University Center and Conference Services. As director, Bell will be responsible for the University Center’s operation as well as the Conference Services Department.

Mark Janssen, assistant director, Auxiliary Services Operations. Janssen is responsible for maintenance and improvements to auxiliary buildings.
