New training sessions for UCCS staff and faculty members responsible for maintaining or creating department social media sites are scheduled for September, October and November.
Stephanie Blake, a former Department of Communication faculty member, will lead interactive training sessions Sept. 12, Sept. 29, Oct. 17 and Nov. 7 to explain a new UCCS social media policy as well as industry best practices to use the tools to improve communication with alumni, community members and students.
The sessions are:
- 10 a.m. – noon, Sept. 12, Centennial Hall 245
- 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Sept. 29, Centennial Hall 245
- 10 a.m. – noon, Oct. 17, Centennial Hall 245
- 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., Nov. 7, ELPC 239
