Robert von Dassanowsky, professor, Languages and Cultures and Visual and Performing Arts, was recently elected vice president of the Modern Austrian Literature and Culture Association, the international academic organization for Austrian studies. He will take office April 7 during the Association’s annual conference at Washington and Jefferson College, Washington, Pa.
