Segal receives mentorship award

Dan Segal

Dan Segal, professor, Psychology Department, recently received the Distinguished Clinical Mentorship Award from the Society of Clinical Geropsychology.

Segal was noted for his contributions to geropsychology including recruiting undergraduate students to the field of study and mentorship of graduate students as a teacher, clinical supervisor, research supervisor and co-author.

Segal was the founding director of the UCCS Aging Center and currently serves as a clinical supervisor for students in training at the Center. He served as the Psychology Department director of clinical training from 2007 to 2014.
