Four UCCS faculty and staff members will lead a Colorado Learning and Teaching with Technology Conference on campus Sept. 23.
COLTT Conferences are organized by the CU System Office of Digital Education and Engagement. Conference organizers organized a “junto,” a term used by Benjamin Franklin to describe a club for mutual improvement.
Leading juntos will be:
- Valerie Martin Conley, dean, College of Education. Martin Conley will present “Establishing and Maintaining a Culture of Assessment.”
- Baye Herald, senior instructor, English Department. Herald will present “Are you Experienced? UX, LX, and Usability in the Online Classroom.”
- Scott Switzer, instructional designer, Faculty Resource Center. Switzer will present “Worth a Second Look? Improve your Online Classes Through Peer Review.
- Steve Jennings, associate professor, Geography and Environmental Studies Department. Jennings will present “Accessible Representations of 3D Surfaces.”
The juntos will take place in University Center 116 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
