An eight-member search committee will interview semi-finalists March 20 for the position of assistant vice chancellor and chief information officer for the Department of Information Technology.
Susan Szpyrka, senior vice chancellor, Administration and Finance, and search committee chair, provided an update on efforts to replace Jerry Wilson who currently holds the position of associate vice chancellor and chief information officer. Wilson plans to retire from UCCS May 31 after more than 31 years of university service.
Following March 20 interviews, the search committee intends to recommend three people to be invited for April on-campus interviews. The on-campus interviews will include meetings with key groups as well as open sessions. The date and time of the open sessions will be announced later.
The search committee members are:

- Vicki Brownrigg, assistant professor, Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences
- Anthony Cordova, director, Multicultural Office for Student Access, Inclusiveness and Community
- Christina Martinez, associate dean, Kramer Family Library
- Larry Levine, associate vice chancellor and chief information officer, Information Technology Department, CU Boulder
- Russ Poole, associate vice chancellor and chief information officer, Information Technology Department, CU Denver
- Venkat Reddy, dean, College of Business, and associate vice chancellor for online education and initiatives, Academic Affairs.
