Campus leaders to conduct budget, accreditation and Program Prioritization discussions

A series of visits with academic departments by top UCCS leaders will begin Nov. 9 and continue through Dec. 9 at locations throughout campus.

Pam Shockley-Zalabak, chancellor, Terry Schwartz, acting provost, Academic Affairs, and Susan Szpyrka, vice chancellor, Administration and Finance, will host five separate meetings to discuss strategic planning, a planned November 2016 campus visit by the Higher Learning Commission, budgeting strategies, Program Prioritization and metrics. Other topics are possible.

The meetings are:

  • Nov. 9, 12:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m., Academic Office Building Room 301
  • Nov. 10, 1:40 p.m. – 2:50 p.m., Dwire Hall Room 121
  • Nov. 18, 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., University Hall Room 133
  • Dec. 3, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Osborne Science & Engineering Room A321 Daniels K-12 Room
  • Dec. 9, 8:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Columbine 115

The meetings are open to all faculty and staff. Those interested in attending can pick times and locations that are most convenient. All meetings will follow a similar agenda and format and will include an opportunity for questions.
