Children of campus and Colorado Springs community members can get an early start on Halloween activities at two Oct. 29 campus events.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Residence Life and Housing Department staff will escort children on a trick-or-treat journey through campus residence halls. Those who are interested in participating should meet at Monarch House.

At 6:30 p.m., the Gallogly Events Center will open for Boo-Zar sponsored by the Athletic Department. UCCS student-athletes and Clyde, the university’s mascot, will be dressed in costume and will lead children in holiday-themed activities including a haunted house and treat decorating stations.

The events are free. Guests are encouraged to park in the Austin Bluffs Parkway Garage.
