UCCS student-athletes have maintained a term grade point average greater than 3.00 for 22 consecutive semesters. 35 Mountain Lions earned either Dean’s List or President’s List honors during the Spring 2015 term. The academic success comes during another successful athletic season by the winter and spring teams.
Mountain Lion student-athletes assembled a collective term GPA of 3.22 in the spring and had one Capital One Academic All-District student-athlete, two on the RMAC All-Academic First Team and 24 RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll selections. Ryder Tam of the men’s cross country and track and field team will be on the ballot for Capital One Academic All-America honors later this month.
On the field, the UCCS women’s basketball team advanced to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16 with All-American Abby Kirchoff and the men’s basketball team won the RMAC Tournament championship with All-American Derrick White. Men’s indoor track and field sent the distance medley relay to the NCAA Division II National Championships, where the relay earned Second Team All-America honors. The men’s golf team advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason for the 14th consecutive season and Patrick Skakel qualified as an individual for the national championships.
Eleven Mountain Lions finished the semester with a perfect 4.00 GPA for President’s List honors. Twenty-four student-athletes were named to the Dean’s List with a semester GPA between 3.75 and 3.99.
Hello! Where can I find the dean’s list for those of us that aren’t a student-athlete? I haven’t seen an article about the list.
Thank you!
