Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak will receive an honorary degree from Colorado College during the college’s commencement exercises May 18.
Shockley-Zalabak is one of three persons who will receive an honorary degree. She was selected in recognition of her efforts to promote regional economic growth and access to higher education in the Pikes Peak region.
Other honorary degree recipients include Bruce McCaw, a former CC student who chairs the Talaris Institute, Seattle, and Paul Morin, director of the Antarctic Geospacial Center at the University of Minnesota.
Congratulations, Pam! A distinct honor for you and more recognition for UCCS!
