Sara Qualls, Kraemer Family Professor of Aging, Department of Psychology, will receive the Distinguished Pioneer in Aging Award Dec. 11 at the 35th Annual Meeting of the Colorado Gerontological Society at the Garden Plaza of Aurora.
The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate originality and ingenuity in addressing the needs of Colorado seniors. Individuals who have made significant advances at the national, state and local level for more than 30 years are honored for their services to the field of aging.
