CU Board of Regents to meet on campus

The nine-member CU Board of Regents, as well as Regents Office staff and campus representatives, will attend meetings on the UCCS campus Nov. 19 and 20.

The public portion of meetings will begin at 2 p.m. Nov. 19 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 20 in Berger Hall.

Meeting highlights include:

Nov. 19

3 p.m. Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak will provide a host campus report.

3:15 p.m. During an academic affairs committee meeting, campus leaders will give updates on the regents-directed Program Prioritization process.

5 p.m. – 7 p.m. The regents will tour two campus labs and be briefed on the Undergraduate Research Initiative before a dinner on the third floor of the Kraemer Family Library.

Nov. 20

9:00 a.m. The Regents will recognize six faculty members as distinguished, the highest honor CU bestows on faculty members. The award recipients include Tom Wynn, professor, Department of Anthropology.

2:30 p.m. Meeting adjournment
