Austin Bluffs Parkway traffic will be restricted Oct. 18 and 19 as crews continue to make progress on the Pikes Peak Regional Transportation Authority-directed widening project.
According to Lawrence Construction, the contractor for the Austin Bluffs widening project, lanes will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and 19 for paving and barrier construction.
Crews will undertake the following specific actions
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and 19, eastbound Austin Bluffs Parkway from Stanton Road to Meadow Lane will be reduced to one lane for asphalt paving and barrier construction.
- From 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 18 and 19, westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway from the UCCS West Entrance to Mallow Road will be reduced to one lane for asphalt paving and milling operations.
Motorists should expect delays and are advised to use alternate routes.
