A campus event to celebrate the life of Carole Schoffstall, dean emerita, Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 29 at Berger Hall.
Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak will be the master of ceremonies for the event where members of the campus community will share stories about Schoffstall and see a video prepared by Jackie Crouch, instructional technologist, Faculty Resource Center, and former Beth-El College of Nursing faculty member.
Carole Schoffstall died July 26 at the home she shared with Al Schoffstall, professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Carole Schoffstall served as dean of the Beth-El College of Nursing from 1990 until her 2008 retirement. She began her association with Beth-El in 1974.
