Memorial Hospital’s medical transport helicopter will land on campus the morning of Aug. 13 near El Pomar Center in Parking Lot 224. The crew will be on campus for a scheduled training course.
Brian McPike, interim police chief, encouraged the campus community to not be alarmed as there is no medical emergency.
The helicopter will remain parked until early afternoon. If there is an urgent medical request, it may leave campus earlier in the day.
Please be aware of the helicopter’s presence and assure campus visitors and guests that there is no cause for alarm.
UCCS Campus Police, as well as Parking and Transportation, helped coordinate the landing.
