Kelly is like the research guru at the top of the mountain, ready to answer any and every question you have about grant proposals! Kelly facilitated a phenomenal Grant Writing Boot Camp this summer, and I am grateful to her for everything I learned in this 6-week session. Not only did she teach our group a great deal, she met with me individually to help with a grant proposal and answered countless questions in the process. My research agenda has been strengthened and deepened thanks to Kelly’s guidance and expertise.

I would like to recognize Sarah Jane Baker for her efforts to keep things running smoothly and serving as a positive representative of the College of Engineering and Applied Science (EAS). She has gone above and beyond to help during a time of staff shortages and transition in the college. These three individuals helped and supported me so much through an unexpected family tragedy. They offered kindness and understanding during a time when I was certain I’d lose my job.
