A forum to demonstrate the latest tool to help students access enrollment information is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 6 in the University Center Theater.
University Information Systems, UCCS Information Technology and the Office of the Registrar will demonstrate UCCS2Go, an application designed for Android and Apple devices. The application will allow students to access course schedules, grades, financial information and to search for classes.
“This is an exciting development,” Tracy Barber, UCCS Registrar, said. “I believe the most important functions, at least initially, will enable students to access their class schedules or view final grades while on the move.”
Students will also be able to drop and add classes from their mobile device anywhere they connect.
UCCS is the first to pilot this application developed by Oracle Corporation as part of the Oracle Campus Solutions student information system. The application will be shared with faculty and staff prior to being marketed to students. All faculty and staff are invited to attend the forum. Refreshments will be served.
